1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to RepairMinder. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RepairMinder platform, including our website (repairminder.com), iOS application, web dashboard (app.repairminder.com), and API (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is provided by Mendmyi Ltd (trading as RepairMinder), a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RepairMinder is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for managing device repair operations. Features include repair order tracking, device management, customer management, invoicing, push notifications, inventory management, support ticket handling, and integrations with third-party services.
The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
3. User Accounts
- You must register for an account to use the Service
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must use two-factor authentication as required by the platform
- You must not share your account credentials with others
- One account per individual — shared or generic accounts are not permitted
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, data-mine, or use automated means to access the Service without our written consent
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the API in a manner that exceeds fair use limits or degrades the Service for other users
5. User Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of repair information, device details, and customer data you enter into the Service
- Maintain appropriate business records as required by applicable law
- Comply with all applicable data protection laws regarding customer personal data you store in RepairMinder
- Obtain appropriate consent from your customers before entering their personal data
- Ensure your use of the Service complies with any industry regulations applicable to your business
- Keep your account credentials secure and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and underlying technology, is owned by RepairMinder and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all ownership rights in the data you input into the Service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written consent. “RepairMinder” and associated logos are trademarks of RepairMinder. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
7. Subscription & Payments
- Access to the Service requires a paid subscription, unless on a free trial or free tier
- Subscriptions are available on monthly and yearly billing cycles
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing section of the web dashboard (app.repairminder.com). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- Subscription fees are billed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' written notice
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- We may restrict or suspend access to the Service for non-payment after reasonable notice
iOS Application
The RepairMinder iOS app is a free companion application. No purchases, subscriptions, or payments are made through the iOS app. All subscription management and billing is handled via the web dashboard at app.repairminder.com.
Refunds & Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel for a full refund. By accessing and using the Service during this period, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate access to digital content and agree that this may affect your right to cancel. If you have materially used the Service during the cooling-off period, a pro-rata deduction may apply.
Outside the cooling-off period, refund requests are handled at our discretion. To request a refund, contact support@repairminder.com.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the lawful collection, storage, and processing of any personal data you enter into the Service on behalf of your customers. Where you act as a data controller for your customers' data, RepairMinder acts as a data processor on your behalf.
9. AI-Assisted Features
The Service includes features powered by artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs), including but not limited to: automated support ticket responses, content generation, invoice data extraction (OCR), device image analysis, and social media content creation.
- AI-assisted features are provided to improve efficiency and are subject to human oversight
- We do not permit our AI service providers to train their models on your data
- AI-generated outputs may require your review and should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth
- We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Details of the AI providers we use are set out in our Privacy Policy
10. Service Availability
We aim to provide high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, which we will endeavour to communicate in advance where practicable.
We are not liable for any downtime or service interruption caused by:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
- Third-party service failures (Cloudflare, Stripe, Postmark, etc.)
- Your internet connection or equipment
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall RepairMinder be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@repairminder.com
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, your subscription payment fails after reasonable notice, we are required to do so by law, or we cease providing the Service (with reasonable notice)
- On termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately
- Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy
- We will provide reasonable opportunity to export your data before deletion, on request
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RepairMinder, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights, or customer data you store in the Service.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
